On the first day of school in 22nd June 1992, the founders of the WEST POINT ACADEMY, Late Sanat Kumar Paul opened the doors with the intention of educating girls and boys and teaching them how to be leaders. It was a new idea in its day, but we believed that girls and boys were equals at a time when the concept was radical. From that day to the present, we have watched our graduates set precedents and break new ground in whatever path they have chosen to follow.

At WEST POINT ACADEMY, we stimulate our students’ minds and their senses with adventure. We encourage them to excel at academics and to excel at pursuits outside the classroom. Because when a girl and boy is given the opportunity to try anything in school, she/he is given the power to do anything in life.

WEST POINT ACADEMY is a Co-Educational English Medium School located in Serampore Hooghly – West Bengal. WEST POINT ACADEMY is committed to providing a well-rounded primary and secondary school education. Max Kids Festivals

Dear parents,
This is for your kind intimation that Max Lifestyle International Pvt. Ltd. has organized a festival named Max' Kids Festival ' which is a month long program for the kids to look at the summer vacation differently along with their parents.
Max Kids festival is one of a kid activity, where other than instant offering to kids and their parents. Under the umbrella of Max Kid Festival, they have a talent segment called “Max Little icon” where kids with the talent in Singing / Dancing/drawing in the age of 3- 12 years can participate.
They have also invited our students to participate in it. So the interested students may register him by clicking on given link.
The registration process start from 4th May onwards in followed by audition (singing and dancing) on 5th June 2022 & Finale on 12th June 2022.
Every kid, who participates, will be rewarded certificate of participation and winner of three categories will gift from Max.

Pre-primary School ( Nursery – UKG)

At this stage we train the children to attain optimal perceptual and motor, cognitive and socio-emotional levels as the basis for readiness for school education and the life in the society. We believe that the starting ground is the uniqueness of the child, active learning, and integration in a group and a collective.

Subjects offered:
English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Spelling, Conversations, Drawings and Rhymes.

Primary School ( Class I-V)

At this stage we train the children to develop children's literacy and numeracy skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening, and computational skills) and other skills and understandings that prepare young people to take part in society.

Subjects offered:
English, Mathematics, Mental Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Environmental Studies General Knowledge, Moral Science, Hindi, Bengali, Spelling, and Computer & Drawings.

Middle School (Class VI-VIII)

At this stage we provide the program that is comprehensive, challenging, purposeful, integrated, relevant, and standards-based that offers students opportunities to fully engage in the life of the school while continually striving for academic achievement.

Secondary School (IX & X)

We know that Secondary education is important because it promotes rational development in the students through which they gain practical skills. So, our main emphasis is to provide students with knowledge and skills in certain specific directions. Attempts are being made to develop the students to be aware of his/her own interest and adequate guidance is being provided to help the students to work according to their choice of career and grow up as socially responsible citizens.
Academic challenges become the focus as the student start preparing for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), New Delhi.

Senior Secondary School (XI & XII)

At the Senior Secondary level (Class XI & XII), the curriculum shifts its emphasis from general to core subject-focused specialized content. The concepts in different disciplines are dealt with in depth and rigor. This is a stage where students identify their subjects of interest for future learning and get a better understanding of their career path. So we provide all the subjects of the important streams offered by ISC, New Delhi for the betterments of students for better career.
